Abstract

Linear spatial image warping operations realized as 2 × 2 matrix multiplications lead to difficult computational problems owing to problems with sampling, resampling, and aliasing. A three-step method is proposed that minimizes these problems. Parallel implementation of the method is discussed. Examples are given.
