synchronous properties of the friction phenomenon
2022, Tribology InternationalCitation Excerpt :Systems with dry friction exhibit very complex behavior and, therefore, have to be analyzed accurately. At the same time, assumed friction model has to predict numerous known features and characteristics, resulting from friction action, such as presliding displacement [1–7], varying breakaway force [8,9], friction memory and hysteresis [10,11], Stribeck effect [12], stick-slip motion [13–18], etc. However, it is difficult to implement a model which would include all of the mentioned phenomena simultaneously.
