A post-eruption study of gases and thermal waters at Okmok volcano, Alaska
2020, Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal ResearchCitation Excerpt :Isotope values are expressed in permil notation (‰). The purified carbon dioxide gas was analyzed on a dual inlet isotope ratio mass spectrometer (Coplen, 1973), and results are reported relative to VPDB. Water samples were analyzed for δ18O using the CO2 equilibration technique of Epstein and Mayeda (1953), and hydrogen-isotope-ratio analyses were performed using a hydrogen equilibration technique (Coplen et al., 1991; Revesz and Coplen, 2008).
