2023, LithosCitation Excerpt :The KGDC is similar to the Skaergaard intrusion; both intrusions remain mafic throughout with elongated shape (McBirney, 1996; Boudreau and McBirney, 1997; Nielsen, 2004 and reference herein). They were tilted after they cooled down and crystallized (Schwarz et al., 1979; Farla, 2004; and reference herein). By contrast, the KGDC is clearly different from the Bushveld Complex.
