Abstract
Encouragement is given to the small electronics company with no history of computer usage, by suggesting a way to start programming design work. A designer-programmer team can develop a collection of useful c.a.d. algorithms by coding those features of the work which are done mechanically with little original thought. Emphasis is placed upon accepting restrictions that will allow a simple algorithm to be used so that encouragement is maintained by the achievement of early successes.
