Root canal irrigation system using remotely generated high-power ultrasound
2022, Ultrasonics SonochemistryCitation Excerpt :When bacteria in an oral cavity penetrate to a root canal network, they can proliferate and cause severe inflammation and pain [3]. The root canal treatment, so-called endodontic treatment, is a clinical procedure of removing the proliferated bacteria and occluding the canals with inert fillers [1,4]. The treatment process can be divided into several steps: opening the pulp chamber, cleaning the root canals, and obturating the root canals [2,5,6].
