Background: According to the WAO (2007) recommendations, specific allergen immunotherapy should be modified according to sensitivity of the patient and the time interval between injections and seasonal allergen exposition [1, 2]. In spite of the SIT schedule (classical, cluster or rush) the allergen exposure should be monitored during any trial, moreover the exposure to the relevant allergens should be documented and indicated in the study protocol. The current and predicted pollen concentrations seem to be really useful for immunotherapy schedule planning, to avoid the reduction of the allergen dose during the high allergen exposure. …
