Amebic Liver Abscess Rupture into Pleural Cavity: A Rare Complication

Abstract

From amebic liver abscess complications, pulmonary ones are the most common; however, amebic liver abscess rupture into pleural cavity is very rare, and, at the beginning, it can confuse with respiratory tract infection. Case report and computed tomography images related to this complication are shown.
