Abstract

A chondromyxoid fibroma of the chest wall is a rare occurrence. A case study of a 40-year-old woman diagnosed with this tumor in the left chest wall is presented. The lesion was removed by video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), and the final pathology examination confirmed a chondromyxoid fibroma. At present, this patient has continued to visit our outpatient unit regularly and has shown no recurrence during the past 1 year.
