Perforated coaxial exciter of the higher-order mode of a barrel-shaped cavity

Abstract

We propose to excite a mode with the rotating field structure in an axisymmetric cavity by a coaxial doubly periodic perforated waveguide. The found relationship between the parameters of the system ensures the total energy transfer from the waveguide to the cavity.
