The statement in the caption to Fig. 1 “Data taken from reference (38).” (Kolhe P, Holding E, Lary A, Chico S, Singh SK. Large-scale freezing of biologics: understanding protein and solute concentration changes in a Cryovessel-part 2. Biopharm International. 2010;23(7):40–9) is erroneous.
Fig. 1 is in fact an adapted version of a figure from Zobrist et al. (Zobrist B, Soonsin V, Luo BP, Krieger UK, Marcolli C, Peter T, Koop T. Ultra-slow water diffusion in aqueous sucrose glasses. Phys Chem Chem Phys. 2011;13(8):3514–3526) where the original data sources are quoted in their caption.
