Abstract

Electromagnetically induced transparency of a quantum pseudo-dot with Rashba spin–orbit interaction and under the influence of external magnetic field is investigated. To study electromagnetically induced transparency the dependence of absorption coefficient and refractive index of the probe light pulse on the Rashba spin–orbit interaction strength, magnetic field, dot size and parameters of pseudo-harmonic potential is explained. Results show the considerable effects of SOI and other mentioned parameters on the electromagnetically induced transparency of the system.
