Multiparametric nondestructive monitoring of sintering indices during the charging operation

  • Published:
Metallurgist Aims and scope

This articles examines the feasibility of developing instruments that use the radiometric gamma-absorption method for multiparameter nondestructive monitoring of the charge on sintering machines. Multidimensional monitoring can be performed at the same level as the sinter plant’s local automated control systems by using counters that are microcontrollers which operate in accordance with an algorithm based on a neural-network approximation.
