Abstract

The microstructure of nanoparticles formed by electric wire explosion in nitrogen atmosphere at low temperatures has been studied. The nanoparticles are supposed to arise from the aggregation of clusters resulting from disintegration of the wire. The influence of gas temperature on the extent of powder agglomeration was determined.
