A New Dimeric Lignan from Machilus philippinensis

A new dimeric lignan, machiphilippin (1), was isolated from the stems of Machilus philippinensis Merr. (Lauraceae). The structure of the new dimeric lignan was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.
