Abstract

Secondary breast tumours are very rare. Their clinical incidence is about 0.5 to 2% and osteosarcoma giving rise to breast metastasis in men has never been reported to our knowledge. We report the case of a 35-year-old patient with a tibial osteosarcoma with lung metastases in whom we discovered breast metastases. Mammography showed a calcified opacity. Histological examination of the biopsy specimen confirmed the osteosarcomatous nature of the lesion. The clinical course was marked by stabilization of lesions after three courses of palliative chemotherapy.
