Klinische Symptomatik bei Vergiftungsverdacht

Zusammenfassung

Unter Vergiftung versteht man die schädliche Einwirkung toxischer Substanzen (Gifte) auf den Organismus und die daraus resultierende Symptomatik. Da Letztere mehr oder weniger charakteristisch für das aufgenommene Gift ist, kann sie bei unklarem Vergiftungsverdacht wichtige Hinweise auf die mögliche Vergiftungsursache liefern. Dies ist bei der klinisch-toxikologischen Diagnose und u. U. bei der Festlegung der Analysenstrategie in der forensischen Toxikologie von Bedeutung. Im Folgenden werden häufig auftretende Vergiftungssymptome nach Organsystemen gegliedert vorgestellt und diskutiert.

Abstract

Poisoning refers to harmful effects of toxic compounds (poisons) on the organism as well as the resulting symptomatology. The latter can be characteristic for the ingested poison and provide helpful information about the potential cause of the poisoning. This is not only important for the clinical toxicological diagnosis but sometimes also for setting an analytical strategy in forensic toxicology. In the following article frequently occurring symptoms of poisoning will be briefly presented according to the respective organ systems and discussed.
