Sevofluran hat wegen seiner Vorteile rasch sehr große Verbreitung in der Kinderanästhesie gefunden und vielerorts Halothan abgelöst. Erst in letzter Zeit wurden Unruhezustände in der Aufwachphase als neues Problem erkannt und stehen zur Zeit im Brennpunkt der Diskussion.
