Summary

This paper describes the application of capillary electrochromatography (CEC) to the rapid quantitative analysis of individual mono- and dihydroxy phenols in tobacco smoke. The method derived provides reproducible and quantitative analysis of real samples, in significantly shorter times than are achieved by current GC and HPLC methods.
