Summary

Capacity factors of peropyrene-type polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were measured using 15 different liquid chromatographic reversed phase systems. On the basis of the retention data the electric interaction indices have been calculated. Application of these indices for structure-retention studies on peropyrene-type polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is demonstrated.
