Es wird gezeigt, dass die erhöhte autolytische Abbaugeschwindigkeit im denervierten Muskel von Bedeutung für den Proteinumsatz ist und immer noch das zentrale Problem der Veränderungen darstellt, die bei Denervierung — hier Durchschneidung des Ischiadicus — auftreten.
