Myeloma nephropathy

Abstract

In 10 out of 622 patients admitted to the Renal Clinic according to criteria qualifying them as cases of renal disease, myeloma was diagnosed. The nephropathy, which was the leading clinical syndrome of myeloma symptoms at the time of admission, especially proteinuria, renal insufficiency, prognosis and its relation to proteinuria and morphological lesions in the kidneys are discussed.
