Untersuchungen zur Frage der Germaninbindung an die Serumproteine

Zusammenfassung

Durch Gabe therapeutischer Dosen von Germanin (Bayer 205) wurde im Tierexperiment keine Wirkung auf den Schwund von Kongorot aus dem Blut und auf die Ausscheidung von Azorubin ausgeübt.

Die Überprüfung der Bindung des Germanins an Serumeiweißkörper mit Hilfe der Papierelektrophorese hat gezeigt, daß nur Serumalbumin Germanin bindet und daß beim pH des Blutes nur 1–2 Moleküle pro Albuminmolekül fixiert werden.

Im Vergleich mit den Untersuchungen anderer Autoren wird in der Besprechung betont, daß dem Germanin keine kompetitiven Eigenschaften im Serum zukommen. Die Bedeutung der Bindung des Germanins an Serumalbumin liegt darin, daß dadurch ein wirksames Fermentgift inhibiert wird.
