Summary

The microanatomic study of the pineal region was made from 18 cadaver brains. The purpose of this paper is to describe the surgical anatomy needed to approach this area, which is deeply located and in the midline, by analysing the different methods of approach.

Résumé

L'étude microanatomique de la région pinéale a été réalisée à partir de 18 pièces anatomiques. Ce travail se propose de fournir les documents anatomiques nécessaires à l'abord de cette région, médiane et profonde, en analysant ses différents modes d'approche.
