A redescription of Caligus patulus Wilson, 1937 (Copepoda: Caligidae) from a fish farm in the Philippines

Summary

Specimens of a caligid copepod collected from milkfish (Chanos chanos) at a fish farm in the Philippines were identified as Caligus patulus Wilson, 1937. After consulting the holotype, the female is redescribed and the male, copepodid, chalimus II, and two pre-adult stages are described for the first time. ac]19800310
