Summary
4-diethylaminodiazabenzene-4′-isothiocyanate (DEABITC) was synthetized and used to obtain thiohydantoin derivatives of 15 α-amino acids (DEABTH-AMK). The coloured derivatives were separated by means of TLC on silica gel using various solvent systems.
