Summary
New desmuramyldipeptide analogs with modified peptide backbones were synthesized. The peptide bond between Ala and Glu was replaced by a phosphonamidate methyl ester moiety. The amide bond at the end of the acyclic side chain was replaced by a phosphinamide moiety.
