Lipids from seeds ofAmaranthus sp.

Abstract

The composition of free, bound, and strongly bound lipids ofAmaranthus sp. is studied. The fatty-acid composition of separate lipid classes is determined. Unsaponified sterols that were fractionated by TLC into five components were isolated.
