Recent developments in eye fundus imaging for clinical application: Television fluoroangiography and new technologies

Abstract

New technical developments are reported in television fluoroangiography. The use of “equidensitometry” and fluorescein dilution curves for the determination of retinal blood flow is discussed. The authors present a digital system for TV fundus image processing, which appears to be the most promising field for obtaining quantitative information, i.e. quantifying clinical data from the eye fundus.
