Es wird dezeigt, dass in Ratten mit 3-Allyl-5-isobutyl-2-thiohydantoin und ähnlichen Substanzen Duodenalulzera hervorgerufen werden können und dass die Bildung von Ulzera durch eine vorhergehende Vagotomie verhütet werden kann.
