  • Published:
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Heteroligand chelates containing both acetylacetonate and aminocarboxylate ligands are formed in solutions containing nickel acetylacetonate and a chelate of nickel(II) with an amino acid (D-phenylalanine, D-tyrosine, D-tryptophan).

  2. 2.

The acetylacetonate ligand in the heteroligand chelate has a “folded” conformation.
