Conclusions
-
1.
It was discovered that zeolites of the A, X, Y, and synthetic mordenite type, which contain sodium, calcium or cerium cations, are cataiytically active in the hydrogenation of the furan ring.
-
2.
The most active catalysts in both the hydrogenation and hydrogenolysis of the furan ring are zeolites NaA and NaM, while amorphous aluminosilicate does not exhibit catalytic activity under analogous conditions.
