Summary

  1. 1.

    The reaction between tetrafluoroethane-ß-pyrosultone and alcohols was Investigated and the dimethyl, diethyl and di-n-butyl esters of sulfodifluoroacetic acid were obtained.

  2. 2.

    A new type of polyamide was obtained by reacting the diesters of sulfodifluoroacetic acid with hexamethylenediamine.
