Conclusions

As a result of the liquid-phase oxidation of 1-acetylcyclohexene a complex mixture of substances is formed. Among the oxidation products the following have been detected: 1-acetylcyclohexene oxide, 3,acetyl-2-cyclohexenone (main product), and 2-acetyl-2-cyclohexenone oxide.
