Abstract

Features of plastic flow are determined for beryllium of a commercial-grade forged from hot-pressed material (CFHP) with deformation in tension in the temperature range −196 to 700°C and with deformation rates of (0.17–3.67)·10−3 sec−1. Temperature and deformation rate ranges for development of the dynamic strain aging effect, the effect of aging at 600°C for 100 h on the nature of the stress-strain curves, and also the temperature dependences for mechanical properties of the metal are determined.
