The adrenal response to metyrapone in amitriptyline-treated subjects

Summary

The adrenocortical response to metyrapone has been found by several investigators to be regularly blocked in man by chlorpromazine. In the present study a subnormal response was found in only two of nine subjects treated with amitriptyline.
