That is why Lean and Six Sigma play a key role in the management of these organizations. Thus, the objective of this article is to present a brief literature review on the topic Lean Six Sigma in tourism, with the primary objective of analyzing the importance of this concept in Airbnb in Douro–Lamego. Thus, all analyzes revealed that this topic is a very interesting subject, as it is complex and important in the performance and survival of these organizations.
