Abstract
The Master Plan of the Yangtze River Basin is the plan for overall arrangement of development, utilization, conservation, protection and administration of water resources and prevention and control against water-related disasters in the Yangtze River Basin, and the blueprint for rehabilitation and protection of the Yangtze River. The CPC Central Committee and the State Council attached great importance to rehabilitation, development and protection of the Yangtze River.
