Abstract
The local anesthetics of benzocaine, procaine, tetracaine and propoxicaine were studied by semiempirical quantum chemical methods. The full spectra were interpreted. The study was completed with the calculation of the 3D potential energy surface of the [OCCN] fragment in the pharmacologically active conformations.
