Abstract
Despite the advent of highly advanced scanner generations that offer a procedural robustness that has never been reached before, contrast agent administration remains one of the most crucial aspects of cardiac computed tomography (CCT). CCT has substantially improved over the past years with faster gantry rotation, more powerful X-ray tubes, dedicated interpolation algorithms, and — last but not least — the introduction of dual-source CT in 2006.
