Summary
A pilot study is described, in which 25 chronic CDH patients were treated with 3 MU recombinant α-interferon per week for 4 months. Improvement was transient and no long-term effects were noted. Side effects were well tolerated and reversible so that longer treatment and higher dosages should be possible.
