Zusammenfassung
Seit Februar 2009 betreibt das Deutsche Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) am Standort Bremen das Bremen Ambient Assisted Living Lab (BAALL). Der Beitrag beschreibt eine Auswahl an Forschungen und Entwicklungen, die im Kontext des BAALLs im Bereich Assistenzsysteme für Menschen in häuslichen Umgebungen und im Alltag stattgefunden haben. Ausgehend von den ursprünglichen Motivationen für das BAALL und Anpassungen in dessen Fokussierung werden die Forschungsschwerpunkte anhand von spezifischen Projekten beleuchtet und die Vielfalt der Nutzungen der BAALL-Umgebung für Forschung, Wissenschaftsvermittlung und Nachwuchsförderung dargestellt.
Von Technik im Alltag bis Alltag dank Technik.
