Zusammenfassung

Die aktuelle diskursive Wende in den Sozial- und Humanwissenschaften wirftgrundlegende Fragen in Bezug auf kritische Praxis und Analyse auf. Diskurstheorien, die auf den Arbeiten von Michel Foucault und Ernesto Laclau fußen, haben nicht nur argumentiert, dass die Wahrnehmung der Welt durch soziale Subjekte deren diskursspezifische epistemische Horizonte widerspiegelt, sondern es wurde auch bestritten, dass Diskurse einen außerdiskursiven Ort der Begründung und Rechtfertigung besitzen könnten (vgl. Foucault 1991; Laclau & Mouffe 1990). Wenn jede sinnvolle Praxis diskursiv hervorgebracht bzw. rationalisiert wurde, dann bedeutet dies, dass nicht nur soziale, politische, religiöse und andere kulturelle Praktiken von den sie rationalisierenden und definierenden Diskursen bedingt sind.
