Zusammenfassung
GefahrstoffInformationssysteme, oder um austauschbare Begriffe wie Stoffdatenbanken, Chemikaliendatenbanken oder ProduktInformationssysteme zu verwenden, sind unverzichtbare DV-Einrichtungen in der Informationslandschaft großer Unternehmen geworden.
Die Anforderungen an ein Unternehmen hinsichtlich der Information zu chemischen Produkten, ob in der Herstellung oder im Umgang, sind in den letzten Jahren ständig gestiegen. Die Anzahl der Personen, die beruflich mit Gefahrstoffen in Berührung kommen, ist heute so groß, daß die gesetzliche geforderte Kontrolle der sicherheitsrelevanten Arbeitsvorgänge nur noch mit Unterstützung der EDV möglich ist.
Vor diesem Hintergrund hat die Firma TechniDATA ihr GefahrstoffInformationssystem MAGIS entwickelt. Über Besonderheiten sowie Einsatzerfahrungen soll hier berichtet werden.
