Zusammenfassung
Die Indikation zur gehörerhaltenden Exstirpation eines Akustikusneurinoms (AN) richtet sich unter anderem nach dem präoperativen Hörbefund sowie der Tumorlokalisation und -ausdehnung. Der Hörerhalt ist aufgrund der Verbesserungen der Operationsmöglichkeiten und der Anwendung des intraoperativen FAEP-Monitoring (IOM) neben der Tumorentfernung und der Erhaltung der vollen Fazialisfunktion ein realistisches Ziel.
