Zusammenfassung
Geografische Mobilität ist ein vielschichtiges entwicklungspsychologisches Phänomen des jungen Erwachsenenalters. Sie ist zum einen eine Strategie der Entwicklung zur Erreichung und raumzeitlichen Integration von Entwicklungszielen. Zum anderen stellen geografische Mobilitätserfahrungen einen wichtigen Kontext der Entwicklung dar. In globalisierten Gesellschaften wird geografische Mobilität zudem zunehmend zu einer zentralen Entwicklungsaufgabe des jungen Erwachsenenalters, die neben der Gestaltung der individuellen Mobilitätsbiografie auch die Entwicklung, Aufrechterhaltung und Integration ortsbezogener Identitätsaspekte umfasst.
