Abstract
Studies from several countries indicate that preventive interventions for hand eczema (HE) in different settings and wet-work professions have proven to be significantly effective. In this context, early dermatological intervention, as well as specific education programs for primary prevention and for affected individuals (secondary and tertiary prevention), has been demonstrated as mandatory. Further improvement of education programs and multidisciplinary approaches is a challenge for the future.
