Zusammenfassung
Mit schweren bakteriellen Infektionen muss bei 0,1–1 % aller Neugeborenen gerechnet werden, wobei die Inzidenz regional sehr unterschiedlich sein kann (Klein 2001). Risikofaktoren für solche Infektionen sind u. a.
- vorzeitiger Blasensprung (> 18 h),
- Chorionamnionitis,
- Fieber sub partu,
- niedriges Gestationsalter,
- niedriges Geburtsgewicht und
- niedrige Apgar-Werte.
