Summary
This paper presents Polyphony, an advanced chat system, which employs knowledge-based (ontology) based artificial intelligence techniques in order to support collaborative work. There will be pointed out the main differences between Polyphony and other chat systems and the improvements introduced by our solution both at the visualization level and at the knowledge level. The recommender system, one of the knowledge-based modules is described in details.
