Abstract
We present a new system for 3D radiotherapy planning, which allows the interactive definition of treatment parameters, the simulation of the “visible” part of the treatment and the evaluation of the precalculated dose distributions. The system makes extensive use of advanced 3D visualisation and simulation techniques, introduces a new visualisation technique called Spherical View and a universal description scheme for irradiation techniques.
